Cookie policy
This cookie policy explains which cookies the website of The Reciprocal at thereciprocal.co.uk (the "Site"), operated by Korving Klikt, uses. In short: one, strictly necessary for the contact form and the survey.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device. They are used to make websites work, or to collect information about how they are used.
2. The cookie we use
| Name | rc_session |
|---|---|
| Purpose | Protects the contact form and the survey against forged submissions (CSRF protection), keeps your survey answers linked to your own response while you fill it in, and keeps the confirmation or error message between two page loads. |
| Type | Strictly necessary, first-party (set by the Site itself) |
| When | Set only when you open the contact page or the survey, and sent back only to that page |
| Duration | Until you close your browser |
The Site sets no other cookies. We do not use analytics, advertising or social media cookies, no third-party cookies and no other tracking technologies. Our fonts are hosted on our own server, so loading a page does not contact any third party.
3. Why we do not ask for consent
Because this cookie is strictly necessary to provide something you ask for, sending us a message or taking the survey, the law does not require your consent for it. That is why the Site shows no cookie banner.
This follows the exemption for strictly necessary cookies in the Dutch Telecommunications Act (article 11.7a) and the equivalent rules in the United Kingdom (PECR).
4. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block this cookie, the contact form and the survey will not work. To use them, allow cookies for thereciprocal.co.uk; the cookie is only set on those two pages.
5. More information
For how we handle personal data, see our privacy policy. For questions, use our contact form.
